MARINA – ”Obsessions” (2010)

Det här var Marina Diamandis första singel från hennes första studioalbum. Hyfsad förstasingel, måste jag säga 🙂

MARINA har kanske kommit i skuggan av Taylor Swift på senare tid men är tillsammans med Lana del Rey en artist Vidar återkommer till med jämna mellanrum.

Här handlar det både om en relation och om psykisk ohälsa.

Marina har i en intervju berättat:

”Well that’s just real life, when I was going mental one day, I think I was 20 when I think I first went insane. When I went shopping, and I’d reach for the first crackers, and I’d feel like there was something wrong with the first packet, so then I’d touch the second one and there would be something wrong with that, so I would go to the third and fourth, and I’d put the fourth in my bag, and then I’d have to put it back cause I thought the third was the one. So basically, it’s just a mental illness.”
