Stiff Records var ett legendariskt engelskt skivbolag som startades 1976 och var verksamt fram till 1985 (innan det togs upp igen så sent som 2006). Artisterna var ofta inom punk eller new wave och bolaget var kända för sin provocerande och humoristiska marknadsföring. Den här veckan postar jag artister som fanns på Stiff under storhetstiden. Suggs (Graham McPehrson) har beskrivit låtens speciella uppbyggnad på följande sätt:
”Miles of introduction, a couple of verses then miles of instrumental, no chorus and the title isn’t even mentioned apart from me shouting it at the beginning. It’s an atmosphere with great music and words- of course it IS a song, but not a traditional one.”
