Don Edwards – ”Coyotes” (1993)

Soundtrack till filmen Grizzly Man.

Sångaren är Don Edwards, som fyller 81 i år. Den handlar om en gammal man som berättar om en värld som inte längre finns. Man får en hjärtskärande känsla av någon som lever på övertid och helt tar sin tillflykt till det förflutna.

I en intervju har Edwards berättat om sången, som var nära att bli bortglömd:

”Bob McDill wrote the song in 1984 or ’85 and couldn’t pitch it to anyone. He put it in a drawer in his office and forgot about it until we started recording at Warner Brothers.” (Wikipedia)
