Rage Against The Machine – “Bulls On Parade” (1996)
Låten kritiserar den amerikanska militären och dess ofta ljusskygga och aggressiva taktiker. Den pekar också på vad alla pengar som plöjs ner i krigsindustrin skulle kunna ha lagts på istället.
Sången är också känd för sitt gitarrsolo av Tom Morello med en vinyl-scratchande effekt. Så här beskrivs tekniken på Songfacts: “Morello rubs his fingers along the guitar strings while toggling between two pickups and using a wah-pedal.”
