Aerosmith – “Eat The Rich” (1993)
“Eat the rich” är en slogan som används i opposition mot de rika, överklassen. Det ska komma redan från filosofen Jean-Jacques Rousseau som ska ha sagt: ”When the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich”.
Den här var den andra singeln från albumet “Get a Grip”. Låten handlar om en bortskämd rik kvinna men bokstavligen också om att äta de rika.
Med tanke på de extrema orättvisorna i världen och att vi är i full färd att sabba hela vår planet så tycker jag att rika människor bör skämmas över sitt överflöd, särskilt när det handlar om ärvd rikedom och särskilt när de låter pengarna jobba för att hålla status quo.
